Throw away that damn scale!!!


Many of our female clients have ask me "Why have I gained weight?" My response is "What type of weight have you gained?" my second response is "Throw away that damn Scale!"

I understand your concerns ladies. Next time you want to measure your CF results ask yourself these three questions:

How do I look? Look at yourself in the mirror, have you notice any changes, how are your clothes fitting you? We are our own worst critics so what are people telling you? Because I'm pretty sure people aren't throwing you over their shoulder to see how much you weigh, so what does it matter what the scale says.

How do I feel? Are you more energetic, are you not needing that cat nap, are you more focused and sharp at work? Nutrition plays a huge part of this also. Besides the soreness the CrossFit gives you are you feeling leaner, stronger and overall healthier?

How am I performing? Are you WOD times getting better, are you getting faster at your weekend 3 mile run, do you find yourself completing task easier then you did before. Have you picked up a new sport are rec-activity? We are here to improve human performance, so go out and perform!
